WIP 1: SD SAZABI Ver. MK

My WIP (work In progress) before this also havent finish yet. But then because of the group build, The details as below:

Current GroupBuilds

LYN SD BB Gundam Thread 1st Official GroupBuild
1st November 2010 to 31st December 2010

Rules & Regulations:

1. SD, BB and D-Style mecha only.
2. All kits must be painted. Hand paint, airbrush, or just marker. No paint = not qualified
3. Time frame is 2 months, starting on the 1st of November, and final date is 31 Dec. Then we can have gathering circa that time.
4. The GB is divided into 2 parts: competition or just joining. Only newbies can join the compy. How 'new' you are is self assessment
5. For the competition, GB member will judge and vote. There will be prizes laugh.gif
6. Upon completion, we will meet up somewhere (location TBD) to showoff our works. For those who can't make it, photos would suffice.

Then, I proceed. First the straight build.
This kit looks ugly for me because it has short legs and i can see SD model from GF generation are all short in leg, so i think maybe no need to add anything to this kit. But later i try to have this kit attached 'quebley' shoulder in order to make it wider.

and I phail to produce a good 'quebley' shoulder. So I take a piece of paper and start to sketch the important part of this model. I also try to SB a new wing for this kit, but the weight of the new wing makes this kits cant stand up properly. So I sketch onwards.
The important part to have some touch up: The hands and shoulder, The head and The body. From the sketch, I was obviously panel lined everywhere this kit. Everywhere!

Remove the seam lines please.! This is not an easy task to remove the seam lines, I try many method to remove the seam lines. and I try my best to remove it. Panel lined also not an easy job so far. The result as below:

p/s: Next step, I will prime this kit! and paint it!
