WIP 2: MG CATERBALL CT01 - E.O.G.T

This is the latest update about my project. Still on going, requires touch up painting on certain area and decals to be applied. Hopefully can join upcoming GBWC if I manage to touch down Malaysia land on that date. Im rushing and chasing the time at the moment.

MECHA FEATURES: MG GP-04 "NOBLE THOUGHT"

This diorama was basically inspired by the sinanju maintenance bay with a clean and neat build MG GP-04. This hanger design is not very complicated and yet it is simple. It means that everyone can build it. From the pictures, I can see the location and the design of the hanger for GP-04 Back pack is not suitable as I can see in reality it may conjesting the scenario and the movement of it form the base or even to lift it for assemble. Anyway, everything looks fine to me and it was awesome! Well done soma.

WIP 1: MG CATERBALL CT01 - E.O.G.T

This build is for fun and for my collection which I don't really wanted in to enter any tournament. This build consist of a lot of Balls from master grade and high grade. This terrain vehicle will be completed with a diorama. I'm going to build 2 trains where one will be equipped with weapon and supported with 4 extension mechanical legs and another one with off-road wheels which I'm going to sacrifice my MISB plastic tank model kit.

MECHA FEATURES: MG UNICORN 03 ROC FULL FRONTAL USE

Another version of unicorn gundam as there are normal unicorn and banshee unicorn. Modeled by RedBrick. The red color and the build basically represent a bit of sinanju concept. At the back of the kit, there are three also propellent thruster arrange in one line to increase the feel and concept of sinanju in this kit. Great painting finishing,  decals and neat build. Well Done!

MECHA FEATURES: TOURNESOL

 A mobile suit with diorama really catch my eyes nowadays. Made by Satoshi Honjo. The diorama tell us that this MG Zaku II is been left after the war, so the mobile suit become a place for recreation and place for the boys to hang around everyday. In term of the structure of the cliff and the water, I must say It were awesome and superb. Well Done!!

MECHA FEATURES: HG ZAKU WORKER by NAGAI

Mecha feature in this post cover HG Zaku Worker by Nagai. Details as usual since this kit just came out plain from the box. In the end, the kit came out with a pair of extension mechanical hand and details were add on too. The coloring also plays major roll, weathered yellow increase the feel of mecha to this build. Well done kit!

MECHA LEG MECHANISM AND CONCEPTS

I want to share about mecha leg concept which I think this might becoming helpful for us if we are seeking for an idea to scratch build the mechanism and the design of the leg. There are various types of mechanism here which I believed at least a pair of piston is required for the flexibility of the leg. As for my upcoming project, I need to prepare the very easy mechanism which require me to less scratch build the parts since im going to produce 12 of it. My upcoming project will be MG Twin Cater-Ball Train. This photo references will help to imagine and structuring the upcoming outcome for the build.

REPOST: 1 HOUR CUSTOM DIORAMA BY DC23

This is a repost from DC23 website about how to build a fine and easy diorama in just one hour. From a normal base stand, with just cut and paste at several parts. New modelers out there may use this initiatives as this is an easy guide to produce a diorama. Make sure that we must have a diorama for our gundam.

THE IMPORTANT OF A DIORAMA

Gundam Diorama can be interpreted as such a scale miniature models. It create a different emotion and perception of others towards gundam itself where it actually represent a story. Size does not matter, it can be as small as 2x2 inch''. These are some examples gundam diorama made by gundam modellers.

For example, this diorama tell us that this RX-78 is having battle with a Zaku on land which used to have a building that had been demolished due to this battle. The car shown is a part of the effect of the battle too. Modellers should also aware with the weathering tone and the effect because it play big role in scale painting job. Do enjoy other pictures, perhaps it may give us some inspiration for our next build.

MECHA FEATURES: HGUC JAGD DOGA GUNEY MACHINE

A well piece from sagiyy. From a normal HGUC Jagd Doga, it came out very detail. Panel lined and plastic plate add the value on its design. Really nice to see compared to the old kit which looks ugly.

COMPLETION: IRONMAN 2 MARK III ver MK

The most productive month of the year 2013 for me, Ive done painting the MG Infinite justice as shown in my previous post and now the ironman resin figure. In order to produce the metallic look, the base color for the metallic color should be silver or chrome if you wanted to use flat color as the next coat. As usual, top coat applied to conserved the color contrast and prevent the color to peel out from the figure.

MECHA FEATURES: DEVIL GUNDAM

At the very first glance from the picture, you can tell whether the kit produced are good or not. The devil gundam from n.blood really insane and details. The segment in the gundam head, panel lined and everything were very detailed. The use of hose was awesome and creative. Great work for this build and this is huge. WIP I: IRONMAN 2 MARK III ver MK

Have to say this, but this is the fact. I am one of the million who loves iron man. I wish to have all the Hot Toys issued for this particular character from the very first model Iron Monger up until the latest Iron Patriot but my wallet wont allow this to happen. So I decided to get on with it by having this cute chibi model. It started when it first release in somewhere 2012. I saw many post and artworks from it and Im keen to have one.

MECHA FEATURES: ZEON ZULU - SUHL DIONE

A kit which was originally having the concept of Zeong and Sinanju. Kit bashing with HG Sinanju, HG Girazuru, HG kshatriya, MG Gelgoog and many more. Anyway, by kit bashing the kits may have pros and cons. The good about it that you can build and produced a great, good and magnificient new kit but the bad thing was the rest of the kit will be gone as waste or perhaps can be useful for other projects if you are creative and innovative enough. LockonSSS is the one who responsible for this kit.

MECHA FEATURES: MG NU ν GUNDAM - DETAILS WORK

Superb detailing with clean stroke of panel line and the color of it were neat and tidy. No extra modification add on to this kit just details in term of the line and the color scheme combination. This kit just shown to us how important is to be excellent in doing the basic modelling. Made by keita. Lets get back to the basic!

COMPLETION: MG INFINITE JUSTICE GUNDAM ver MK

This project basically a commision project to remodel back the MG 1/100 Infinite Justice Gundam to be a better gundam. Color scheme changed and a few add on were applied. Not to forget the decals too. Accumulated more than 20 hours to complete this due to working on the morning and had to work on it during night.  I name it Infinite Justice Gundam ver. MK.

MECHA FEATURES: VERNICHTEN BANSHEE

A combination of Unicorn Banshee and a Rezel where you guys can easily trace them from their parts. The big model was assembled by those kits for example the Rezel's legs were attached as the combination unit upper clamp hand. For more info about this kit www.gmrevo.com

Amazing work by matmat, kit bashing from the mega size gundam upon build up this kit. The mono eye capable to be at right or left. Simple design yet amazing in term of the tidy color scheme (UC) and add ons.

Another magnificent work from shunneige, Strike Azurro. High in details especially dealing with small pla-plates. The base model that been used was RG Aile Strike

2013 PROJECT: MG INFINITE JUSTICE Ver. MK

Hi all, its been long time I write in this blog which the last post was in November 2012. It was due to busy working and hectic life. At the moment, I manage to sort things out accordingly and manage to devide my time efficiently nowadays for this exciting hobby. One of this 2013 project I had so far, MG Infinite Justice. No picture of progress work so far in this post. Have to wait for the next day for updates and progress, stay tune all!
